ABOUT THE PROGRAM
As international economic borders grow more and more intense, the flow of goods and services as well as capital flow have been the critical elements of effective production and trade. Since the boundaries of both service and production investments of Turkish businessmen are expanding, the number of companies looking for employees to work abroad is also rapidly increasing. In this respect, the program aims to generate graduates with strong theoretical background, analytical skills and numerical methods; more importantly, to make them understand the interaction of the theoretical and practical dimensions of their field by providing a rich content in the areas of business, economics, finance and thus to enable the participation of individuals in the workforce, which will bring out the potential of the country and raise its standards. Providing basic information for students' systematic thinking is one of the primary goals. Therefore, the curriculum is designed in such a way as to enable students to develop analytical thinking, use appropriate methods in accordance with their disciplines and observe the results of these practices.
As a result of the successful completion of the program, senior executive candidates will be trained who will take the current positions of competitive sectors of the Turkish economy forward. The physical infrastructure and conditions of the university make it possible for students to obtain convenience to reach the resources they need. Furthermore, the program generates a distinct advantage and an element of preference by enabling the enrichment of students’ goals with its multidisciplinary education, knowledge and structure that enables the development of manners. In addition, sectoral relationships will create surplus value and offer opportunities to help students reach their goals after their education life.

DEGREE EARNED
Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive the “PRU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences International Trade and Business Undergraduate Diploma”
THE LEVEL OF THE DEGREE EARNED
This is a program at the undergraduate level.
ENROLLMENT CONDITIONS
Students who are graduated from a high school or an equivalent education institution are eligible to study at our university if they choose a program based on the university's TM-1 score after the Undergraduate Placement Examination (LYS) and if they are placed by OSYM in any of these programs. The enrollment conditions of all the faculties are published in the OSYM Manual.
REQUIREMENTS AND RULES OF THE DEGREE EARNED
Qualification requirements and rules are defined in Piri Reis University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Students, who successfully complete all courses in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, do not have FF, FD letter grades, fulfills the minimum amount of credit required by the program and the internship obligation and, whose GPA is 2.00 or above are entitled to a diploma.
DEFINITION OF PREVIOUS EDUCATION
Students who are enrolled in the first semester and who previously have studied at any higher education institution accepted by the Higher Education Council for the courses that they have taken and succeeded in that higher education institution should apply with the petition document, transcript and the contents of the related courses at least one week before the registration renewal week to demand exemption.
Students who take exemption for the equivalent courses and credits from the directories of the relevant units, can be enrolled in courses from upper semesters in accordance with the credits exempted and course enrollment regulations.
PROGRAM DEFINITION

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
a. To be able to benefit from the basic disciplines of international business and trade (economics, business, law) and to have fundamental knowledge of these disciplines.
b. To be able to evaluate and interpret data, concepts and ideas in the field of international business and trade with scientific methods.
c. To obtain the ability to analyze international economic and trade developments, identify problems, express opinions and present solutions to problems in the organization.
d. To be able to comprehend the necessity of international competition and the unique business practices of different countries.
e. To be fully aware of the requirements of international (consumer and industrial goods) markets and be able to develop and decide strategies in finance, management, production and marketing, especially in times of crisis affecting international business environment.
f. To be able to foresee the processes and results of the decisions to be taken and the projects to be implemented, to take into account the cause - effect relationships and to develop a strategic approach.
g. To be able to focus on continuous improvement, take responsibility and be innovative in the area.
h. To be able to have leadership and management competencies that a manager and entrepreneur should have working at the international level.
i. To be able to work in teams, make horizontal and vertical communication based on professional sharing and interaction with experts in other fields, as well as having the ability to make intercultural communication.
j. To be able to use information and communication technologies along with the computer software at the level required by the field.
k. To be able to use information systems and software used in international trade operations and data analysis in addition to using computers.
l. To have the knowledge of at least B2 level English within the scope of European Language Portfolio Independent User and to use these qualities in verbal and written communication.
m. To act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values and with the consciousness of social responsibility in various fields of international trade.
