Course Description

This course aims to provide knowledge about fundamentals of [Turkish] law of commercial enterprise, law of negotiable instruments and corporate law. Additionally, due to ever-growing and transboundary nature of the commercial law relatively new issues for commercial law like competition law and international trade law are discussed.

 

Course Objectives

 

To comprehend the fundamentals of [Turkish] law of commercial enterprise, law of negotiable instruments, competition law and corporate law

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

At the end of this course the student will be able to

I. obtain knowledge about the law of commercial enterprise, THE law of negotiable instruments and corporate law regulated under Turkish Commercial Code numbered 6102.

II. have a notion of understanding difference between business transactions and ordinary transactions from the point of view of law.

III. notice and gain ability to follow up new concepts in commercial law such as competition law, international trade law and international commercial arbitration.
