Course Description

This course explores the dynamics in international business environment and provide insights for effective international management. Main topics are political, economic, legal and cultural differences, effective communication, entry modes and strategies, product development and marketing, business operations and ethical behavior at international level.

Course Objectives

This course aims to provide a framework for understanding political, economic, legal and cultural dynamics  associated with cross national environments for managing international businesses strategically.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

By students who passed from UIT 306 successfully;

  1. Understand the differences in political, legal, economic and cultural dynamics in international business environment
  2. Learn effective communication methods for cross national interactions
  3. Compare alternative market entry modes
  4. Learn key issues on international business operations and marketing
  5. Understand the relationships between international strategy and organizational structure
  6. Gain insights on how to manage an international business effectively and ethically
