Financial İnstitutions and Investment Environment, Financial Services, Buying and Selling Securities, Decision Making and Efficiency, Portfolio Selection and diversification, Market model, CAPM, APT, Financial Analysis and Security Selection, Performance Evaluation, Derivatives

 

Course Objectives

 

: Introduction to the investment environment will provides students with an indepth understanding of both institutions and the broad set of instruments, which as a whole serve the purpose of decision making towards saving, investing, speculation, risk transfer etc. This procedure involves not only the mechanics and the practical issues in the financial habitat, but also a more rigorous and formal development of fundamental ideas like risk-return relationship, portfolio choice, asset pricing, budgeting decisions, derivatives and risk protection.
