UNIVERSITY FACILITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

The University is continuing its work to improve the conditions for people with disabilities at its Seaside and Prep. Campuses.

Available at both of the campuses within the scope of accessibility are;

• Use of space,

• Infirmary renovations,

• Wheelchairs,

• Car Parking space accessibility for students and people with disability,

• Accessible Elevators and portable ramps,

• Appropriate Library resources,

 

In addition, the student dormitory, which the construction is about the start, will be built according to accessibility requirements of people with disabilities.

All changes are undertaken with sensitivity and within the legislative framework.

Relevant conferences and trips are organized from time to time to increase awareness of all individuals including students, academic and administrative staff.

At the PRU Disability Unit, assigned by the Rectorate and under the coordination of the Vice Rectorate, nine academic and administrative staff are employed with a staff member certified in sign language.
