In case you want to travel by yourself, here are some tips about transportation in Istanbul.
From Ataturk Airport to Tuzla, there is no direct transportation. You can follow the steps:
ROUTE 1:
1. Use the subway to Yenikapı direction. Get off at Zeytinburnu station.
2. Use metrobus to Zincirlikuyu direction until the last stop (Söğütlüçeşme)
3. Take a taxi to Kadıköy-bus stops (you may also want to use a shared taxi (dolmush) until the last stop)
4. Kadıköy-Tuzla bus numbers are 130 and 130A.
ROUTE 2:
1. Use the subway to Yenikapı direction. Get off at Yenikapı. Walk 7-10 minutes to IDO terminal.
2. a) Use the ferry to Kadıköy. Timetables can be checked from : http://www.ido.com.tr/en/timetables/
b) Use the ferry to Bostancı.
3. a) Kadıköy-Tuzla bus numbers are 130 and 130A.
b) Bostancı-Tuzla bus number is 133T.
ROUTE 3:
1. Use the subway to Yenikapı direction. Get off at Yenikapı.
2. Use MARMARAY to Ayrılıkçeşmesi direction.
3. Use subway to Kartal
4. Kartal-Tuzla bus number is 130M.
From Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) to Tuzla you can use bus 130H.

Travel card for students:
Students can apply for discounted students pass cards to use at IETT buses, subways, metrobus and ferries for a cost of 10 TL through IETT web page.
