PRE-DEPARTURE

Please make sure that you have completed the following steps prior to departure.

1. Preparation of the Learning Agreement and Course list

You must choose the subjects you would like to do at the host university and prepare a Learning Agreement with the help of your faculty's Erasmus Coordinator. Maximum credits to be taken is 30 ECTS. You are required to prepare 3 copies signed in pen. One copy for the student, one for the home university and one for the host university.
2. Letter of Acceptance/Invitation

A letter of acceptance/invitation to your name will be sent to the PRU Erasmus Office from the host university. You are considered to be accepted officially once the host university invitation letter is received.
3. Euro Account

You must open a EURO bank account under your own name from İŞBANKASI. Account information must be declared to the Erasmus Office. Your grant will be deposited into this account.
4. Free Passport

You need to find out what you need and what documents are required from the Provincial/District Police Departments’ websites. You can get your free passport with the document you can obtain from the PRU Student Affairs Office. Obtaining a passport and the passport application process is the responsibility of the student.
5. Visa Procedures

Initially, find out what you need and what documents are required from the consulates’ websites of the country you will study in. All visa procedures are the student's responsibility. You should apply for a visa by attaching the invitation letter from the related university, student documents (must be in English), and, if necessary, a consular petition obtained from the PRU Erasmus Office to your Visa application file.
6.Health Insurance
The health insurance to be submitted to the consulate for student mobility is different from the one for travelling. It should state the phrase “Student Health Insurance” or “For Educational Purposes”, offer ambulatory treatment and cover the entire process of learning mobility. All health insurance procedures and payments are the student’s responsibility. If the students have SGK health insurance, they can check from the websites of the related country whether the host country has agreement with SGK or not.
7.OLS (Online Linguistic Support)

You are required to sit the OLS examination before and after learning mobility. The aim of this examination is for you to show how much you have improved your foreign language skills.
