Course Description

The concept of procurement and its management, procurement process management and, negotiation, contract management, the place of procurement in supply chain management

 

Course Objectives

 

The aim of this course is to learn the progressive stages of purchasing activities in the business. The steps to be taken when purchasing and the learning of the notices to be observed in relation to the supplier. It emphasizes the points to be noted in the contract and supplier management, so that the student can gain the necessary information.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

Students will be

I. Having knowledge about the fundamental procurement function and its place in a business
II. Become able to comment and have knowledge about the procurement workflow and its stages.
III. To learn the points to be considered in relation to suppliers and contracts.
IV. Having knowledge about information technology used in procurement
