  • Definition of the logistics
  • Better understanding of important issues such as road-marine-air transportation
  • Insurance in supply chain and logistics

 

Course Objectives

 

This course teaches logistics management master degrees students the topic of strategic choice analysis for defining the source distribution, to find strategic problems and to make environment analysis in business area and  to find the goal.

This course contains the creation of strategies about strategic logistics and supply chain management, the comparison and the integration of logistics facts. Students can appraise the knowledge of logistics area with the point of view strategic management. 

In other side it will be given to the students’ project homework to gain skills about creating strategies with example case.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

By students who passed from LTY514 Logistics and Supply Chain Management Strategies successfully

Students will be able to

  1. use concepts related to supply chain management, terminology.
  2. define organizational goals and design the strategic tools needed to achieve those goals.
  3. make environmental and organizational evaluations on a single enterprise basis.
  4. evaluate the business environment from a competitive point of view.
  5. evaluate strategic logistics management from a different point of view
  6. define the stages of strategy formation in detail.
