Definition and Principles of Insurance,
Maritime insurance and types,
The responsibilities of the equip- ment and port management for marine insurance,
Pollution prevention indemnities and the management and liabilities of pollution compensation funds,

Course Objectives

 

International applications and local practices on marine insurance, together with basic and advanced exemplary practices, create a knowledge and awareness

I. Know the definition and principles of insurance
II. It establishes the link between the legal and economic requirements of the insurance.
III. Know Insurance Types.
IV. Know marine insurance and types.
V. Describes the conditions of the coverage of the Vessels and Machinery Insurances and the relationship with the insurance company.
VI. Describe the terms of coverage of Club Insurances and their relationship with the insurance company.
VII. Know the responsibilities of the equipment in relation to marine insurance.
VIII. The prevention of pollution discloses the management and liabilities of compensation and pollution compensation funds. Explain Insurance Compensation Procedures
