Course Description

This course enables the cadets to gain terminology related to shipyards, dry-docking and workshops. It also aims to develop comprehension of occupational safety in such places and proficiency in reading technical and procedural documentation.

 

Course Objectives

 

Students who successfully pass this course will acquire knowledge of shipyard terminology with dry-docking and workshop elements and an efficient discourse of occupational safety. They will also improve their reading comprehension of technical documents.
