Course Description

Quality,quality control and quality assurance concepts. Total Quality Management. Quality  design, design quality and application quality. Statistical processes, risc and tolerance concepts. Acceptance samplings. Measurement. Statistical process control, control diagrams ISO 9000/TRD/EN/ASME Codes, 6 Sigma, Kanban, Reliability

 

Course Objectives

 

 

1. To introduce main subjects and updated concepts related quality.

2. To introduce SPC methods and related computer programs.

3. To give some information about inspection and measuring quality during manufacturing.

4. To introduce tools which used for determining and improving quality.

5. To introduce acceptance methods required for manufacturers and suppliers

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

I. be familiarized with the quality and related subjects

II. recognize the software like Excel etc. used in statistical applications

III. be familiarized with measurement and quality improvement subjects during manufacturing

IV. be familiarized with quality certificates applications and methods

V. be familiarized with methods required to acceptance as manufacturer or supplier: ISO/ASME Certificates, QC Manuel Preperation etc.
