Radicals, decimals and rounding), Algebra, Proportion, Deviation and Interpolation,Measure and Uncertainity in Measurement, Functions, Time and Angle Calculations,Trigonometry, Complex Numbers, Logarithm, Using the Mathematics Scale, Geometry, Spherical Trigonometry, Vectors, Linear Algebra (Matrices and Determinants)

Course Learning Outcomes
|
Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to
- do the arithmetic and algebraic operations on numbers
- have the knowledge about methods of measurement and types of errors and do errors account
- describe a function, and determine the domain and range of functions, and sketch the graph of functions by using reflection, translation and scaling of graphs of functions
- explain the trigonometric concepts and do the trigonometric conversions, have the knowledge about spherical trigonometry
- write the complex numbers and do the operations on complex numbers,
- calculate the areas and the volumes by recognizing the geometrical figures, write the equations of lines and planes using appropriate information
- explain the correlation between exponential function and the logarithm
- know vectors and properties
- defines the concept of matrix and function of determinant and know properties of them, calculate the determinant of a matrix
