Course Description

This course develops knowledge of the maritime management techniques including commercial and technical management.

 

Course Objectives

 

  1. To introduce comprehensive and up-to-date information to the students,
  2. To teach the basics of commercial and technical management in Maritime Businesses at the level that the ship watch officer should know.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

I. To learn the concepts and the meaning of terms related to maritime business,
II. To learn the business and commercial methods of maritime companies,
III. To learn the general procedure of the tasks that must be done in order to make the ships operational and ready to execute duties.
