Course Description

Following the Rules and Regulations, Making the Ships to be convenient to those Regulations. Following up Ship Certifications and Inspections. Maintaining Records and Correspondence. Personnel training, security and supply methods within Technical Management. Monitoring material, keeping records, planning requisition and supply.

 

Course Objectives

 

Understanding of technical management & ship management and learning required actions.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

Students who successfully pass the course will acquire knowledge on;

  1. Ability to understand technical management.
  2. Knowledge about flag, class, port state and other control system.
  3. Knowledge about ship registration, insurance, classification.
  4. Evaluation of technical and operational ship management.
