Course Description

Concepts of civilisation, history of civilisations and intellectual development in each era, discoveries, industrial revolution, social revolution and today.

 

Course Objectives

 

This contributively selective course aims helping students on understanding brief history of the world, social developments and civilisations.

 

Course Learning Outcomes

 

By students who passed from MET 1001 successfully

  1. Learn the concept of civilisation
  2. Study a world history starting from very fist civilisations
  3. Discoveries and industrial revolution together with their effects will be understood thoroughly
  4. Learn several civilisations on different places of the world
